The Whisky Men

The Whisky Men by Gavin D. Smith is a book that gets beyond the gloss and hype that surrounds Scotland's national drink to celebrate the unsung heroes who are the backbone of the whisky industry. Gavin has talked to warehousemen, mashmen, stillmen, coopers, coopersmiths, excisemen, managers, owners and even the occasional illicit distiller to give insight into the changes in the industry over the last half century.
