Legend of Cuban Rum Pre-1962

Available in very limited quantities on the market, this cuvée offers a rare opportunity to taste a rum dated before the Cuban revolution and the rise to power of Fidel Castro. Distilled in Cuba in the 40s, this rum was later imported into Spain, where it continued to age in old oloroso barrels in the cellars of the famous Casa Valdespino. Reserved for a long time for tasting in the cellar, it was finally sold to a Japanese import company following the purchase of the "bodega" by the Estevez family in 1999.
